I was in the back seat of my friend’s car on the way back from lunch when we passed this on a major road right next to a dorm. Perhaps once upon a time it led up the hill to the dorm, but now, it looks like a setting for mayhem, a place Buffy would go to fight vampires. Paths into the “dark woods” always allure me, but is it bad that the pathetic sign makes me want to step on those steps even more?
