I was skeptical on the perspective in this one, so I decided to check it out.

Summary

A teenage girl (Abigail Breslin) knows something is wrong when she is stuck reliving the day before her 16th birthday until Olivia (Eleanor Zichy) from current day reaches out and tells her she died decades ago. Together, they must solve the mystery of the murderous spirit living in the house before Olivia’s family winds up dead too.

• I’m more interested in Olivia’s ability to sense ghosts and allow them to inhabit her body.
• It’s Groundhog Day horror-style.
• There are some artifacts connecting the time periods that seem like they would not still be there decades later.
• How come no one else ever saw ghosts besides Olivia?
• An ambitious movie, it didn’t achieve the satisfaction I wanted in terms of connecting things in a unique way.
